I am a current Freshman Communications Major at the University of Southern California. Through my major, I am focusing Media and Foreign Culture. I am also minoring in Entrepreneurship. I received my high school diploma from the Middle College High School at Durham Technical Community College with a 3.6 GPA. When receiving my high school diploma, I received a certificate verifying my completion of all general education requirements for my Associate's in Arts. I received offers of nearly a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships and grants from prospective universities and colleges near the time of my high school graduation.
Experience
I've previously tutored students who shared classes with me at my local community college. I enjoy tutoring, because there are times when I may not understand a particular subject no matter how my instructor tells it to me. Sometimes, I simply need another person's perspective. I need someone to explain it in there own way. Afterward, I usually don't have an issue with the lesson or applying the information. For this reason, I would be more than happy to be that someone who can explain a concept, lesson, etc. differently to a student. SAT: 1890 ACT: 29 I have not taken any AP courses. However, during my junior and senior years of high school, I only took college courses. By the time i graduated high school, I had earned 50 college credits.
