Education
I graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh with a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and a minor in mathematics. I graduated in 2016 with honors, holding a 3.478 GPA. I was a member of the IB program at Broughton High School, where I opted to take the most high level math and science courses I could and played violin for their orchestra.
Experience
I tutored geometry and chemistry when I was in high school, and I tutored engineering statics when I was in college for the aerospace engineering honor society Sigma Gamma Tau. My test scores reflect my work ethic - on my SAT, I scored a 690 for Critical Reading, a 710 for Mathematics, and a 620 for Writing. I also scored 5's on my AP Environmental Science, AP Human Geography, and AP World History exams. In college, I performed the best in my math courses, such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Euclidean Geometry. I want to tutor math courses, because I would like others to enjoy and excel in math like I have, and make it one of their strong points in their academics. I was and remain involved in the community both within and outside of school, and I hope to bring my passion for STEM subjects to help improve our technological outlook.

Hobbies
My passion is to help develop astronautical engineering technology so that we may further explore and colonize space, and so I follow recent events in that area to keep me in the loop about our extraterrestrial ventures. In terms of my leisure activities, I enjoy playing pickup soccer and experimenting on the piano, and if I really have some extra time on my hands, I'll fold origami, such as a Pegasus, dragon, and Venus Flytrap. I also have two dogs and a cat to keep me company.
